The (future) center for philosophy of science at the University of Namur (Belgium) is launching a call for applications for PhD and postdoctoral positions in philosophy of science under the FNRS funding schemes (research fellows and postdoctoral researchers; call 2025).
Eligible topics are those covered by the four academics of the center (namely Thibault De Meyer, Juliette Ferry-Danini, Gaëlle Pontarotti et Olivier Sartenaer):
History and general philosophy of science
Sciences in society
Philosophy of the matter sciences
Philosophy of the life sciences
Philosophy of medicine, pharmacy and medical ethics
Philosophy of the social sciences and humanities
Philosophy of (digital) technology

To obtain sponsorship from the center, candidates are invited to send a CV as well as a research statement (following the FNRS template available here: https://e-space.frs-fnrs.be/documents_publics/ressource/documents_modeles_2024.pdf) before November 20, 2024 at olivier.sartenaer@unamur.be. Should their file be selected, they will be accompanied by in their final submission to the FNRS (the deadline being somewhere (to be confirmed soon) in January 2025).
